The vehicle body (10) has an enclosed transverse frame (54) which is extended to a body longitudinal axis (12) in a transverse manner. The transverse frame has two corner sections, where distance between two corner sections is determined by two separate intermediate sections. The intermediate sections are provided to connect the two corner sections. An independent claim is included for a kit for manufacturing a transverse frame of a vehicle body.
