<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smart entry system which can lock a door even if the user does not take a portable machine out of a bag or a jacket of him or her irrespective of the strength of an electric field. <P>SOLUTION: According to the smart entry system when a master portable machine is present in a cabin but a sub-portable machine is present out of the cabin, master portable machine invalidation control is carried out, and locking control is also carried out. Thus even if the user does not take the portable machine out of the bag or the jacket, the door can be locked. Therefore the user can lock the vehicle when he or she goes out of the cabin with the sub-portable machine carried with him or her while the master portable machine is left in the cabin, and even if an outsider breaks in the cabin by breaking a glass while the user is out of the vehicle with the sub-portable machine carried with him or her, the outsider cannot perform operation such as activation of an engine, by using the master portable machine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
