PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object detecting device which eliminates false report in the detection of an intrusion object. SOLUTION: In a detecting system, employing a plurality of inputting devices different in the sensitivity and wavelength thereof as image and signal obtaining devices for detecting the intrusion object through cooperation processing of at least two or more pieces of information, the range of region which must process an input from another inputting device is limited based on an object detecting position or an object size which is obtained by processing an input from one inputting device.
