PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle alternator, capable of easily improving the positional accuracy in fitting the AC generator for the vehicle, when assembling the vehicle, while securing proper detachable workability to the engine, and to provide a loading method for the vehicle alternator. SOLUTION: The AC generator 1 for the car has a rotor 2, integrally rotating with a rotating shaft 2a, a stator 3 arranged opposite to the outer periphery of the rotor 2 and a drive frame 7 and a rear frame 8 that houses the rotor 2 and the stator 3. The drive frame 7 has a stay section 7a which projects to the outside, while having a U-shaped hole 7a-1 in a front-end section. At a notched circle section 7a-2, having the same shaft as that of the U-shaped hole 7a-1 and a diameter and a center angle larger than those of the U-shaped hole 7a-1 is formed to the stay section 7a.
