PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a high motor efficiency by reducing harmonic secondary copper loss generated at a rotor. SOLUTION: This rotator is a columnar rotator 3 and, on a peripheral surface portion thereof, a plurality of rotator slots 31a extending in a direction of a rotational axis J are drilled at predetermined intervals. In each of the rotor slots 31a, at least one conductor rod 33 is embedded. One end of the conductor rod 33 is formed with a predetermined quantity of rotator slots 31a in a peripheral direction of the rotator 3 and is connected with one end of at least one other conductor rod 33 so as to be energized.
