PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power supply unit capable of stably re-activating a power supply even at the time of instantaneous interruption such as a power failure, and achieving stable power supply operation. SOLUTION: Utilizing characteristics that an on-time increases at an instantaneous interruption, the on-time is detected by a MAX-DUTY detector 10 and the overload protection function of an overload protection circuit 150 is disabled.
