摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can easily produce a toner for electrostatic charge image development, even if a crystalline resin is used, having excellent low temperature fixability and storage stability and further having excellent durability in a short time, to provide toner for electrostatic charge image development obtained by the method, and to provide an image forming method using the toner. SOLUTION: A method for producing a toner for electrostatic charge image development at least includes: a stage where the raw material of a toner base particle including a binding resin containing a crystalline resin in which the ratio between a softening point and the maximum peak temperature in heat absorption (the softening point/the maximum peak temperature in heat absorption) is 0.6 to 1.3, and a coloring agent is melted and kneaded, so as to obtain a melted and kneaded material; a stage where the obtained melted and kneaded material is pulverized, so as to obtain a pulverized material; a classifying stage where the obtained pulverized material is classified, so as to obtain a toner base particle; and an external addition stage where the obtained toner base particle and an external additive are mixed, so as to obtain an externally added toner, and further includes a stage where the treated material on and after the melt-kneading stage is irradiated with microwaves. The toner for electrostatic charge image development is obtained by the production method, and used for an image forming apparatus, in which linear velocity is≥750 mm/sec, in the image forming method using.
