PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas detection apparatus for neutron measurement, capable of realizing a high counting ratio for speedily and accurately measuring neutrons to be measured. SOLUTION: The gas detection apparatus for neutron measurement comprises a gas detection means 11 for measuring neutrons and outputting electric charges, according to the amount detected; a first integrating amplifier means 13 for integrating and amplifying output from the gas detection means 11; a waveform shaping circuit 16, comprising both a differentiating circuit 14 for differentiating output from the first integrating amplifier means 13 and a second integrating amplifier means 15 for integrating and amplifying output from the differentiating circuit 14; and a digital integrating means 18 for converting the output of the second integrating amplifier means 15, from analog into a digital form and integrating its digital output values. The coefficient at integration of the first integrating amplifier means 13 and the coefficient at pole-zero cancellation of the differentiating circuit 14 are equivalent to each other.
