PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnet switch capable of raising only a restoration voltage while an operation voltage is maintained. SOLUTION: The magnet switch 1 for a stator comprises an excitation coil 2, a ground plate 3, a plunger 4, a switch frame 5, an abutting prevention member 6, a return spring 7, and a contact pressure spring 9. The abutting prevention member 6 is made from a non-magnetic material which regulates movement of the plunger 4 toward the ground plate 3 side, for preventing abutting with the ground plate 3. The abutting prevention member 6 is arranged between the plunger 4 and the ground plate 3 while fixed to a rear end surface of the plunger 4. Thus, the position of plunger 4 changes at completion of attraction, to reduce a spring load. Therefore, only a restoration voltage can be raised while an operation voltage is maintained.
