HEAD-GIMBAL ASSEMBLY, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manufacture a head-gimbal assembly while surely grounding a head slider fixed on a micro actuator. SOLUTION: The head slider is fixed on the micro actuator fixed on a suspension, and the micro actuator has a piezo element and a movable portion moving according to expansion and contraction of the piezo element. The head slider moves slowly according to the movement of the movable portion for fine positioning. The head slider is fixed on the metal studs 542a to 542c of the micro actuator and is in contact with them. The metal studs are electrically connected to a ground terminal 544i on the micro actuator.
