PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a tilting speed of a seat back of a forward-tilting type vehicle seat by actuating a damper device when the seat back is tilted to a predetermined angle. SOLUTION: This seat apparatus is provided with: a cam operated when the seat back of the vehicle seat configured to be tilted forward is tilted forward to the predetermined angle, and turning integrated with the seat back to reduce the tilting speed of the seat back; and the damper device fixed to the seat cushion side. When the seat back is tilted forward to the predetermined angle, the cam abuts on the damper device to operate the damper device and reduce the tilting speed of the seat back.
