CASSETTE SPOOL LOCK

A cassette (20) for use in delivering a continuous length of filament. The cassette (20) includes a housing (21 ) having a first aperture (28) and a spool (34) rotatably mountable in the cassette housing (21 ). The spool (34) contains a first female receptacle (40) alignable with the first aperture (28), and a flexible boot (30) is attached to the cassette housing (21 ) and aligned with the first aperture (28). A removable plug (26) is insertable through the first aperture (28) and into the flexible boot (30) for receipt within the first female receptacle (40) of the spool (34) to prevent rotation of the spool (34) within the cassette housing (21 ).
