The invention relates to a protective package (1), particularly a ballistic protective element for protecting the body, comprising a plurality of layers (2 to 4) arranged behind one another. Starting from the side facing away from the body to be protected toward said body, the layer arrangement comprises a first layer (2) made of a plurality of layers (5) of a textile woven fabric, a second layer (3) made of at least one ply (6) of a high-strength material, and at least one further layer (4) facing the body. To this end, the second layer (3) is connected to the further layer (4) via the majority of the surface (8) thereof, said further layer comprising, in a preferred embodiment, a knit spacer fabric (11) and/or a fluid-tight wrapping (20) enclosing an interior space (19). |
