<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of suppressing a feeling of incompatibility that a viewer has owing to the shift of an image and also suppressing burning of a display panel. <P>SOLUTION: When notice indicating that the face position of the viewer moved to the right is input from a picked-up image processing unit 7, a control unit 2 instructs a display control unit 4 to temporarily shift the display position of the image on the display panel 10 to the right. When notice indicating that the face position of the viewer moved to the left is input from the picked-up image processing unit 7, on the other hand, the control unit 2 instructs the display control unit 4 to temporarily shift the display position of the image on the display panel 10 to the left. The display control unit 4 performs image data conversion processing on image data input from an image input unit 3 according to the instruction from the control unit 2 so that the display position of the image on the display panel 10 is the position instructed from the control unit 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
