<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device reducing the number of laminated layers and manufacturing steps and improving an aperture ratio of pixels. <P>SOLUTION: In this pixel, a gate line GL and a gate insulating film GI sequentially are formed on a substrate SUB1, a date line DL, a pixel electrode PX and a semiconductor layer are formed thereon and a protective layer is formed thereon. In the display unit, a part of the gate line serves also as a gate electrode of a thin film transistor, a part of the date line serves also as a drain electrode of the thin film transistor, and a part of the pixel electrode serves also as source electrode of the thin film transistor. The display unit includes a semiconductor layer consisting of an oxide semiconductor layer. In the display unit, the oxide semiconductor layer is directly connected to the drain electrode and the source electrode, and the date line and the pixel electrode consist of another conductive film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
