<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize an operation load on a moving device which makes the effective use of a work space on a desk. <P>SOLUTION: An operation device includes: a placing portion 18 to place a (laptop) personal computer, a moving portion 12 to move the personal computer from a use position for using the personal computer to a non-use position different from the use position, and a fixing device 14 to detachably fix the moving portion 12 to a desk 16. The position of the placing portion 18 is determined by the length of an extension mechanism 5. The positioning operation to determine the length of the extension mechanism 5 is performed by an operating device 4 that transfers the displacement magnitude of an operating portion 4A to an action portion by hydraulic pressure.
