<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heliostat solar position sensor mechanism, controller and following control method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A solar position sensor includes, at least, a substrate, photo-diode, rectangular pole, sunshade lid, transparent cover, housing base, wiring board, and a plurality of small joints and output lines. When the sun is positioned right above the rectangular pole, the shadow of the sunshade lid directly affects sensitivity of the photo-diode in east, west, south and north directions as the sun slightly moves, a signal can be accurately supplied to the controller and the controller controls the heliostat accurately so that the sun is positioned just in front of it. Accordingly, the solar position can be accurately detected under sunlight by the solar position sensor and the controller capable of obtaining advantages of low cost, low power consumption, high stability and high accuracy, a solar cell module on a frame of the heliostat can obtain maximum power generation efficiency and the present invention can be widely applied to various sunlight following devices. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
