PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure and a construction method for repairing an existing molded roof, which enable a new roof composed of a heat insulating material and a waterproof sheet to be connected and fixed to a substrate material on the existing molded roof. SOLUTION: The new roof is constructed by laying the heat insulating material 16 in the state of leaving the existing molded roof 15 as-is, connecting and fixing the heat insulating material 16 to a steel-frame substrate material 14, providing the waterproof sheet 17 in a tensioned state and bonding it. The heat insulating material 16 is connected and fixed to the steel-frame substrate material 14 of the heat insulating material 16 by means of a long nut 22, a holding plate 23A and a screw 24. The long nut 22 is screwed and fixed to an upper end of a hook bolt 11 which is protruded from the existing molded roof 15, and passed through a through-hole 25 which is opened in the heat insulating material 16. The holding plate 23A is superposed on the top surface of the heat insulating material 16 in accordance with the through-hole 25. The screw 24 is passed through a screw passing hole of the holding plate 23A, and screwed and fastened into the threaded hole of the long nut 22.
