PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal gasket capable of getting an almost equal seal contact pressure throughout the entire periphery of a hole to be sealed, exerting excellent sealing performance, and preventing a flange of a cylinder head or an intake and exhaust manifold to be a contact surface from flexurally deforming. SOLUTION: The metal gasket comprises one or more metal component sheets 10, 20, 30, a bolt hole 3 disposed around the hole 2 to be sealed, and inner peripheral side bead 11, 21 and outer peripheral side bead 22 provided to surround the periphery of the hole 2 to be sealed. In the inner peripheral side beads 11, 21, a compression resistance of the bead is formed smaller than the other portion in the vicinity of the bolt hole 3. In the outer peripheral side bead 22 in which the bolt hole 3 is contained inside in the vicinity of the bolt hole 3 in a plain view, the compression resistance of the bead is formed greater than the other portion in the vicinity of the bolt hole 3.
