PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically select a tool in each processing step, in an automatic processing system by a robot, etc. SOLUTION: An automatic tool changer includes an air motor 15 for driving a tool; a tool assembly 1 provided in this air motor 15 in series, with a chuck mechanism 11 integrally formed therewith for attaching/detaching the tool; a robot 6 which comprises an arm 61 for holding the tool assembly 1 on its end part, and a link mechanism 66, and holds the tool assembly 1 movably in a three-dimensional direction; and a switching means 2 for operating the tool assembly 1 attached to the end part of the arm 61 of the robot 6, and changing the tool 5 that constitutes the tool assembly 1.
