PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for continuously applying a powdery lubricant, capable of improving a working environment and the yield of the powdery lubricant containing metallic soap as a main component by eliminating or suppressing leakage of the powdery lubricant when applying the powdery lubricant on the surface of a metal wire material. SOLUTION: The device 1 for continuously applying the powdery lubricant includes: a powder loading section 3 allowing the metal wire material W to travel on a bottom 3a and having a powder loading container 2 to be loaded with a powdery lubricant P to be applied on the surface of the metal wire material W; a powder collecting container 10 adjacent to the powder loading section 3 and disposed on the downstream side of the traveling direction of the wire material W; a powder recovering tube 14 for communicating between the powder collecting container 10 and an upper container 8 of the powder loading container 2; a filter F disposed on a position inside the upper container 8 and upper than a communicating section 15 of the powder recovering tube 14; and a blower (depressurizing absorbing means) B having one end communicating to the upper part than the position of the filter F in the upper container 8.
