PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat reclining apparatus for a vehicle capable of coaxially connecting a pair of left/right hinge pins and a connecting pipe, and absorbing variation in the vehicle width direction by inserting the pair of left/right hinge pins from inside the vehicle seat and connecting a connection portion formed at the inner ends of the hinge pins facing each other to the connecting pipe. SOLUTION: In the seat reclining apparatus for the vehicle includes the connecting pipe 43 provided between a pair of right and left reclining mechanisms 18 and connecting the hinge pins 40 so as to be integrally rotatable, each of the pair of right and left hinge pins is structured so as to be inserted into each of the reclining mechanisms from the inside of the vehicle seat 13, and a connecting portion 41 is provided at an inner end of at least one hinge pin facing the other hinge pin and is connected to the connecting pipe.
