STATIONARY BLADE AND STEAM TURBINE

A stationary blade and a steam turbine which can control self-excited vibration through a simple configuration. A cavity (40) extending in the blade width direction is formed in the stationary blade (20), and slits (28a, 28c) for allowing communication between the cavity (40) and the outside are also formed. A corrugated leaf spring (44) in sliding contact with at least one of a belly side member (25) and a backside member (27) is provided between the belly side member (25), i.e. the portion on the belly side of the cavity (40), and a backside member (27), i.e. the portion on the backside of the cavity (40). When the stationary blade (20) deforms resiliently, the corrugated leaf spring (44) generates friction between it and at least one of the belly side member (25) and the back side member (27). Relative positional variation between the belly side member (25) and the backside member (27) is reduced by that friction. Consequently, self-excited vibration of the stationary blade (20) can be controlled.
