WIRING DUCT COVER

A wring duct cover that has a low cost simple structure and can be easily opened by a single action, that does not use a mechanism involving sliding operation leading to wear and damage, and that has excellent durability. The wiring duct cover has a frame body long in the left-right direction and having a substantially rectangular opening and also has a lid body fitted into the opening. When fitted into the opening, the lid body is separated from opposite side walls on the long sides of the opening to form two gaps through which wiring is led. A left and right pair of support sections that support opposite ends of the lid body from below projects from left and right inner surfaces of the opening of the frame body. On the rear side of the lid body are provided two front and rear lines of downwardly projecting engagement sections having a substantially L-shaped cross-section, and these engagement sections extend along opposite edges on the long sides of the lid body. The support sections have a front and rear pair of substantially square-shaped engagement recesses at positions corresponding to the engagement sections, and the engagement recesses receive the engagement sections when the lid body is closed. Further, a front and rear pair of outer walls is arranged at positions externally adjacent, in the front-rear direction, to the engagement recesses. When the lib body is opened by being raised from either of the sides, the front and rear pair of outer walls engages with the engagement sections to support the lid body in an open state.
