<p>A representative negative molding (12) of the body part is produced. A hardening mass (10) is used to form the impression. This is held in the cavity (3) of a decorative mounting (1) with a viewing opening (2) and a removable base. A tool (20) is used to press the mass against the cavity walls. The mass is a silicone rubber, or a silicone rubber casting compound. It comprises two components which are mixed together in set proportions. The hardening mass is used to cover the shallow cavity, part-filling it. An independent claim IS INCLUDED FOR the method of taking the impression.</p> |
