<p>An internal surface positioning device is described comprising a head unit having a control mounting formation towards a first end for receiving and mounting a control arm in use; a working unit mounting formation towards a second end for mounting a working unit; at least one stabilising mechanism comprising at least three stabilising formations disposed about a periphery of the head unit and enabled to effect in use a rolling contact with an internal surface of a work piece; wherein at least one of the stabilising formations is slideably mounted in relation to the head unit so as to be positionable dynamically a varying transverse distance from the head unit during use; and wherein urging means are provided to urge the slideable stabilising formation into intimate contact with an internal surface of a work piece during use. An assembly including one or more working units and a method of use are also described.</p> |
