The transmission has a combustion motor (1) e.g. diesel motor, for supplying drive power into a power transmission drive strand, where the motor produces an exhaust gas stream (2). A steam circuit (4) comprises a steam generator and a steam-driven expansion engine (6) i.e. piston engine, via which the drive power is supplied into the drive strand. The expansion engine stands in drive connection with an exhaust gas utilizable turbine (3) such that the exhaust gas utilizable turbine and/or an aggregate driven by the turbine are drivable via the expansion engine. |
