Method for producing animal fur or hide manufactures, characterized by the fact of comprising: a mechanical separating phase for mechanically separating a coating layer (13) formed by the outer layer (14) of said fur and hairy coating (15) associated with said outer layer from an animal fur; a mechanical separating phase for mechanically separating at least a minimum thickness supporting layer (21) from an animal fur; an intermediate application phase for applying a thermally activable adhesive layer (22) on the surfaces of said coating or supporting layer or both to be coupled, and a final coupling phase for coupling, by suitable application conditions, said coating layer with said supporting layer, so as to obtain an almost natural manufacture suitable for confectioning items of apparel. The invention also refers to a manufacture obtainable from this method for confectioning items of apparel.
