PURPOSE: A stator of a linear motor is provided to reduce the assembly process of a bobbin and an outer stator by forming stoppers on upper and lower ends of an inserting recess of a layered unit. CONSTITUTION: A stator(60a) is comprised of a cylindrical bobbin(63), a coil(64), an inserting recess(66), stoppers(67), and a plurality of outer stators(65). The cylindrical bobbin(63) includes a coil winding layered unit(61) provided with finishing ends(62) on both ends thereof. The coil(64) is wound and layered at the coil winding layered unit(61) of the cylindrical bobbin(63). The coil winding layered unit(61) and the finishing ends(62) are inserted into and pressed at the inserting recess(66). The stoppers(67) are formed on upper and lower of an inner of the inserting recess(66). The plurality of outer stators(65) are disposed on a circumference of the cylindrical bobbin(63) at regular intervals.
