Interactive display system (1) based on enhanced-reality technologies for tourism and leisure applications, which enables a user (13) to view a real image (6) that is enhanced with a certain amount of interesting information. The system (1) includes a real camera (2), a processing unit (3), a database (4), a display device (8) and a tracking system (9). The processing unit (3) converts three-dimensional graphic objects (5) stored in the database (4) into two-dimensional virtual representations (5') as a function of the position of the real camera (2) calculated by the tracking system (9). It then aligns the two-dimensional virtual representations (5') and the real image (6), generating the enhanced image (6'). The system (1) allows zooming onto the enhanced image (63), simultaneous and adjusted zooming onto the real image (6) and the two-dimensional virtual representations (5') being performed. |
