The assembly has a housing (11) comprising an inner surface and an outer surface (26), and traversed by a window (17) delimited by a peripheral edge (18). A screen (21) is partially fixed in interior of the housing, and integrally carries a transparent frontage (33) in opposite to the window. The frontage is engaged in the window and surrounded by the peripheral edge of the window. The frontage has a frontal surface (19) in extension of the outer surface of the housing. The screen has a display (22) at which the window is fixed by splicing. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for fabricating a screen-housing assembly for a portable electronic apparatus (2) a method for fabricating a portable electronic apparatus.
