<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint for vent pipe connection capable of sufficiently stopping the flow of drain water reversely flowing from a main pipe to a vent pipe connection part while maintaining a vent function of a vent pipe and having an extremely compact joint structure. <P>SOLUTION: This pipe joint for vent pipe connection comprises an upstream-side drain pipe connection part, a downstream-side drain pipe connection part, the main pipe installed between the two drain pipe connection parts, and the vent pipe connection part having a pipe axis extending parallel to a plane perpendicular to the pipe axis of the main pipe and also having an inner pipe bottom opening and connected to the main pipe at a height of 60% of the inner diameter of the main pipe. A reverse flow prevention wall which so extends from the inner wall surface of the main pipe inward as to extend the vent pipe connection part, and is formed as to be flush with the inner wall surface of the main pipe at least at the bottom of the mounting opening of the vent pipe connection part of the main pipe is formed at the circumferential edge of the mounting opening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
