摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To judge the properties of a tissue utilizing differences in characteristics of changes in microscopic structures, continued surfaces, linear objects and in the amplitudes and phases of speckles when assumed sound velocities in the generation of images are varied. SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus has an ultrasonic wave probe in which a plurality of elements is so arrayed as to transmit ultrasonic waves to a subject while outputting received signals by receiving ultrasonic wave signals reflected from the subject and a property judging means which judges the properties of tissues within the subject from changes in the phase of the signals in the orientation of the elements as focused from the received signals with a delay based on the assumed sound velocities when the assumed sound velocities preset for the actual sound velocities of the ultrasonic waves transmitted to the subject are different from the actual sound velocities.
