PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module capable of reducing an interval of a core between channels of an optical waveguide and reducing cross-talk in an optical coupling part. SOLUTION: On a substrate 1, a light emitting element array 2 consisting of VCSEL 20A to 20D and a light receiving element array 30 consisting of PD 30A to 30D are arranged opposite to each other so that the element arrays become parallel while forming a gap g, and are arranged so that pitches of the VCSEL 20A to 20D and the PD 30A to 30D are not overlapped on each other with respect to a direction of intersecting the direction of forming an optical waveguide 7, and a mirror on the light emission side and a mirror on a light reception side of the optical waveguide 7 are optically coupled on the VCSEL 20A to 20D and the PD 30A to 30D. Further, the mirror on the light emission side and the mirror on a light reception side are alternately arranged while forming a gap G equal to the gap g.
