PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel in which quality is improved by preventing dust etc. from being carried into the display region in rubbing treatment. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal panel 1 is constructed by: using a pair of substrates 2, 3 having the alignment layers formed on the display regions DA thereof; applying a sealing material 4 to the periphery of one of the substrates; sticking both substrates to each other via photo-spacers 5a arranged in-between so as to form an internal space with a predetermined size; and sealing the liquid crystal in the space. In the liquid crystal panel 1, at least two virtual lines Y<SB>1</SB>, Y<SB>2</SB>are set on the periphery of the display region of either one of the pair of substrates in the direction intersecting the rubbing treatment direction of the alignment layer inside the display region, a plurality of post spacers 5<SB>1</SB>-5<SB>4</SB>are arranged in a standing condition on the one virtual line Y<SB>1</SB>of the two neighboring virtual lines at predetermined intervals, and a plurality of post spacers 5<SB>11</SB>-5<SB>14</SB>are arranged on the other virtual line Y<SB>2</SB>of the two neighboring virtual lines at predetermined intervals in such a way that they are located midway between post spacers on the one virtual line.
