<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of easily and accurately generating tempo clock which is synchronized with a music piece included in an audio signal. <P>SOLUTION: Difference between adjoining frames of a power waveform of the input audio signal is generated, and Fourier transform of the generated difference (onset detection signal) is performed, and thereby, beat frequency and phase in the audio signal are estimated. A pulse signal including the estimated frequency and phase is generated, and a tempo clock pulse signal for expressing the beat of the audio signal is generated by periodically selecting a pulse from the pulse signal according to a rhythm structure (the number of beats) of the audio signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
