PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed control system which can continuously prevent traveling at a location of a dead angle of a front vehicle in performing the vehicle speed control of a vehicle in a speed control section. SOLUTION: The speed control systems 1 are provided at an infrastructure device 2 and a plurality of vehicles 3. The infrastructure device 2 is provided with; an ECU (Electronic Control Unit) 21 and a transmitting and receiving device 22. The ECU 21 sets a traveling condition (slowdown parameter) based on information received by the transmitting and receiving device 22 on vehicle speed on a vehicle A and a vehicle B which travels in front and information about a time point when the vehicles A and B have passed the start point of the speed control section and the control speed of the speed control section so that the vehicle A does not locate in the dead angle of the vehicle B.
