PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remotely operate many operations that are executable by an imaging apparatus at a side to be operated, regardless of whether the imaging apparatus at the side to be operated is the same type as electronic equipment in the electronic equipment. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus 200 receives operation item information, including not less than one operation item indicating action which is controllable remotely from another equipment in the imaging apparatus, on the side to be operated from the imaging apparatus by radio, and generates a menu image for arranging each operation item for displaying on a display panel 201, based on the operation item information. Then, when operation items on a menu image are selected by operation input to selection keys 211-214 and operation input to a determination key 215 is performed, in this state, an execution request signal to action corresponding to the operation item which is selected at that time is transmitted to the imaging apparatus at the side to be operated by radio to demand the execution of corresponding action.
