PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dig pits with different diameters by means of one excavating head. SOLUTION: In this excavating head enabling a change into a plurality of digging diameters, a plurality of excavating blades are radially protruded at a lower end of a head rod, and a plurality of excavating claws are protrusively provided on the excavating blade. The excavating claws, positioned on the outermost periphery, among the excavating claws can be freely attached/detached; and a plurality of spare excavating claws with different diameters, which can be attached to/detached from the same position in place of the excavating claws on the outermost periphery, which make the digging diameter larger than that of the excavating claw on the outermost periphery and the digging diameters of which are different from one another, are prepared.
