PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a face material as an interior and exterior finishing material (building face material) which employs a glass plate, which is equipped with the advantage of the adoption of the glass plate on an as-is basis, which is also equipped with robustness, and which can be changed into a large-sized panel. SOLUTION: A desired pattern 2 is formed in a printed or applied manner on the backside of the glass plate 1 of a proper size, and the whole backside is bonded to a thin metal plate 3. In addition, especially in the use of the face material as the exterior finishing material, an anchor member or a connecting member is provided on the backside of the metal plate for wet construction.
