摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform recovery efforts from an earthquake emergency operation without requiring a manual operation for recovering a seismic sensor by a maintenance person, and to perform a desirable earthquake emergency operation without providing a seismic sensor for every building having different strength. SOLUTION: The seismic sensor 8 is composed of a three-axis accelerograph detecting acceleration of an X shaft, a Y shaft and a Z shaft, and is provided with an acceleration arithmetic unit 11 which performs a predetermined operation for every predetermined time with respect to the acceleration detected by the three-axis accelerograph and which outputs a signal equivalent to an operation value to an earthquake emergency operation instruction device 12. The earthquake emergency operation instruction device 12 includes a storage device 15 writably storing a threshold equivalent to the acceleration values of horizontal shafts as at least X shaft and Y shaft allowing an elevator in the building to perform the earthquake emergency operation, and a control device 14 which compares a magnitude relation between the acceleration value output from the acceleration arithmetic unit 11 and the threshold stored in the storage device 15 and which outputs an earthquake emergency operation signal in response to the comparison result.
