PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk storing case made compact as a whole by reducing its width perpendicular to the direction in which disks are inserted or taken out, so as to cope with a need in recent years, and also to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In the disk storing case 1, a second disk holding member 7a is folded along the first end edge 3a of a first disk holding member 3 and fixed to a base member 3 near a third end edge 3c by a melting part 7e. Its third disk holding member 7b is folded along the second end edge 3b of the first disk holding member 3, and fixed to the base member 3 near the third end edge 3c by a melt-welding part 7f. In the disk storing case 1, therefore, even when disks 13 are inserted between the second disk holding member 7a, the third disk holding member 7b, and the first disk holding member 3, the melt-welding parts exists on neither the first end edge 3a nor second end edge 3b in the widthwise direction Y perpendicular to the direction X in which the disks 13 are inserted or taken out.
