PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate fixing of a sprinkler head to a ceiling slab and to facilitate adjustment of the mounting height of the sprinkler head. SOLUTION: A fixture 5 is fixed to the lower surface of the ceiling slab 1. The sprinkler head 4 is connected to the tail end of a fire-extinguishing pipe 2 laid on the lower surface of the ceiling slab 1 via an elbow-shaped joint 3. A mounting seat 3c is integrally disposed in the joint 3. The mounting seat 3c is superimposed on the inner face of a vertical face plate 24 of the fixture 5 in such a way as slidable in the vertical direction, and a setscrew 30 is inserted into a vertical slot 27 from outside the vertical face plate 23 to be engaged with a female screw hole 6 of the mounting seat 3c. In this way, the joint 3 is fixed on the inner face of the vertical face plate 23, and the sprinkler head 4 is mounted at a prescribed height position. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
