The invention provides a thermal expansion type removable acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive tape which exhibits high ordinary joint strength independent of the material of an adherend and which permits easy disjoining or disjointing by heating. A thermal expansion type removable acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive tape or sheet which comprises as the essentials a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer containing a thermal blowing agent, a release film layer, and a microparticle-containing viscoelastic substrate, characterized by having a structure wherein a laminate comprising a release film layer and a microparticle-containing viscoelastic substrate as the essentials is provided on at least one side of a pressure -sensitive adhesive layer containing a thermal blowing agent in such a way that the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer comes into contact with the release film layer either directly or through other layer.
