Panel (1) of wooden battens comprising layers of wood battens in alternating orientations (X, Y). The wood battens of each layer are separated by a centre-to-centre distance (E). Layers of wood battens (C1, C3, C5) are oriented in a first orientation (X). Layers of wood battens (C2, C4, C6) are oriented in a second orientation (Y) perpendicular to the first orientation (X). The layers of wood battens (C2, C4, C6) are interleaved between the layers of wood battens (C1, C3, C5). In two consecutive layers having the same orientation, the battens are staggered by a distance (D). |
