The invention relates to a joint unit, preferably for mounting the vehicle link of a motor vehicle, having a link-side housing (1) in which a joint pin (2) is pivotably held by means of a spherical bearing surface (3), wherein the joint unit has a locking unit which prevents the separation of the housing (1) and joint pin (2). It is essential to the invention that the locking unit is composed of a locking bolt (9) which is arranged within the joint pin (2) substantially parallel to the central longitudinal axis of the joint pin (2) and which is provided at one of its free ends with a blocking element (12). The locking unit additionally comprises a locking receptacle (13) which is situated within the housing (1) or within the joint pin (2), in which locking receptacle (13) the blocking element (12) is held without contact when the joint unit is assembled, wherein the locking bolt (9) is fixed to that component of the joint unit, the housing (1) or joint pin (2), which is not provided with the locking receptacle (13). |
