A screw type waste collecting vehicle is provided to store more waste amount and collect waste with less power by compressing the waste continuously transferred to the hopper with screw. A screw type waste collecting vehicle comprises a container(P) which is equipped in the rear side of the vehicle to store waste, and a feeder device(100) which is combined with the rear side of the container to be able to open and close. The feeder device includes a screw(110) which compresses waste and lifts up the compressed waste to put into the container, where the pitch of the screw gradually increases from the rear to the front. In front of the screw, a front housing is installed to surround the front of the screw so that the waste is compressed.
