An apparatus for extracting green tea without antioxidants is provided to prevent extracts from being oxidized in an extraction tank and enable the green tea extracts to be produced even in a small space. An apparatus for extracting green tea without antioxidants comprises an extraction tank(1), an inert gas spraying nozzle(2) and an up-and-down moving unit(3). The extraction tank stores green tea extracts. The inert gas spraying nozzle is installed in a bottom of the extraction tank. The up-and-down moving unit moves a green tea pack, in which powdered green tea are placed, from an upper part of the extraction tank. A method for extracting green tea includes the following steps of: supplying raw water to the inside of the extraction tank; floating inert gas included in the raw water by the inert gas spraying nozzle in order to remove bubbles of inert gas; and moving the green tea pack upward and downward so as to extract green tea from the powdered green tea of the green tea pack.
