A moving roller for a suction head of a vacuum cleaner is provided to reduce the squeal noise between the moving roller and the floor to be cleaned while cleaning. A moving roller(100) for a suction head(10) of a vacuum cleaner comprises a suction tube(20) collecting the dust or the foreign materials and installs at bottom of a main body. The moving roller rotates to front and real direction and guides the movement of the suction head. A shock-absorbing fabric(120) is adhered with adhesive to a rolling surface of the moving roller. When cleaning the floor with the suction head, the shock-absorbing fabric performs a buffer function.
