<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording and reproducing device by which confirmation of recording is promptly performed, the head of a video cut and one video scene comprised of a plurality of video cuts are also promptly reviewed. <P>SOLUTION: The recording and reproducing device has: an input means for inputting moving image signals; a first recording means to which random access is possible, for recording the image signals inputted from the input means; a second recording means for recording the recording starting position information and recording end position information of the moving image signals in the first recording means; a list display means for displaying the moving image signals recorded in the first recording means by list on a display means; a selection means for selecting at least one of the moving image signals displayed by list; and a review reproducing means for reproducing, for prescribed time, part based on the recording starting position information or part based on the recording end position information of the moving image signal selected by the selection means on the display means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
